Cleaning a car is as simple as cleaning your room. There are many people who spend a lot of money on these small tasks, unaware of the fact that car cleaning is a very simple task and do not take more than 40-50 minutes. To keep your car clean makes you feel better while driving and give you a better environment inside the car. Everyone wants to see his/her car clean, free of any mess up or dirt. Cleaning the interior of the car is a part of car maintenance and it requires the same attention which other parts of the car require. It is better to clean your car exterior and interior once in fortnight.

Here are given some of the simple steps which you can follow to clean your car’s interior conveniently.

You Need

Make sure that you have all the following items with you beforehand:

– Clean Towel
– Mini-vacuum cleaner (designed for cars)
– Paper towels
– Detergent (laundry or washing)
– Upholstery cleaner
– Soft brush

Directions

1. Before starting cleaning the car’s interior, be sure to keep your important documents and papers at safe place. Now remove all the garbage, paper, bottles or any other junk from the car.
2. Take the mats or carpet out of the car and wash them with the help of detergent. Lay them flat or hang them on a suitable place for air dry.
3. Take a vacuum cleaner and vacuum all the interior parts like seats, floors. Don’t forget to vacuum under the seats and pedals area. Vacuum all the interior part so that no place left behind.
4. Take a soft brush device and attach it with vacuum cleaner. Now vacuum the dashboard, stereo and leather seats properly.
5. Take upholstery cleaner and with the help of it clean the doors seats and even you can use this cleaner on carpet. Thoroughly clean all the seats, door upholstery and carpet.
6. Now take a clean cloth damp it with detergent mixture and with the help of it clean the dashboard stuff. Later dry it with the towel.
7. You can apply polish to give your dashboard and its other component shine. But to apply polish on your dashboard use soft brush instead of any other material to avoid scratches or other damage to your plastic items.
8. In the end take a paper towel to clean the windows of the car. For this spray a window cleaner or use detergent to clean the windows from inside. Wipe your windows clean with the help of towel papers.
9. Once you are done with all other interior parts, replace the mats or carpets back to the interior floor.
